The Shire Birth doula
Supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum
About Me
Welcome! I'm so glad you've found your way to my page. I'm Tiarne, a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am the mum to a little boy whom I love dearly. I am based in the Sutherland Shire, and service the Greater Sydney and the Wollongong area. I am passionate about the transition to motherhood and would be so honoured to be your doula through this time. I love pregnancy and birth and see each one as a unique and beautiful experience. I will support you through any birth you decide to have; medicated or unmedicated, at home or the hospital, vaginal or caesarean section. I am respectful of your choices and want to help you towards your desired birth.

Please get in touch to set up an initial free consultation. I really look forward to meeting you.

Support Services
Prenatal Visits
I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering Prenatal Visits, my goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby and help you prepare for your birth. I am passionate about education around birth, and seek to provide unbiased information to help my clients make informed decisions.
Postpartum Support
Those first few weeks after the birth are really big weeks for the baby and for the mum!
I desire to support you in your recovery after birth by helping you in ways that allow you to rest and heal.
Labour Support
With my birthing guidance, I offer support to you and your family before and during the birth. My goal is to make you as comfortable as you can be by supporting you physically and emotionally during labour and birth and ensuring your preferences and desires are listened to.

"Tiarne was the most incredible source of comfort and wisdom throughout my pregnancy and when we welcomed our bub! She was always there when I needed advice or had questions, and dealt with all of my 'is this normal?' messages with a smile and great resources to ease my anxieties. She is so full of knowledge about pregnancy and birth and brought so much joy and comfort to my journey into motherhood! I highly recommend having Tiarne as your Doula!"

"Having Tiarne as our Doula during Covid was a great blessing. She was very supportive and help us overcome our fears during those uncertain times. We are eternally grateful for her loving support."
